Guidefitter Introduces New Pro Purchase Programs
Guidefitter, the industry network for professional outdoor guides and outfitters, today announced it has added support for six new pro purchase programs to its enterprise influencer marketing platform, the Grid. Outdoor gear brands that offer exclusive pricing incentives for their products to verified Military personnel, First Responders, Conservation/NGO organizations, Outdoor OEM Brand employees, Outdoor Government employees, or Outdoor Educators, in addition to verified guides and outfitters, can now manage all of their programs in one place at Guidefitter.
Guidefitter introduced the Grid at SHOT Show in Las Vegas in 2016 to help outdoor gear manufacturers better operate and promote their pro hunting and fishing guide/outfitter programs. Building on the success of its early customers on the Grid, Guidefitter is responding to demand from these companies to support a wider array of industry purchase programs, helping outdoor brands mobilize an even larger audience of gear influencers who are generally better at inspiring people to take action more than the brand itself.
Professional hunting guides are often asked for recommendations on the best boots to buy, given how much guides abuse their footwear, which is why we invest in a pro guide program for our products and why we trust Guidefitter to help manage our program,” said Jim Winjum, President of Kenetrek Boots, based in Bozeman, Montana. “But many others in the outdoor industry also rely on quality gear to get the job done, like game wardens and US Forest Service employees, which is why we’re pleased to see the Grid now supporting these programs as well.
To date, over 70 leading brands, including Carl Zeiss Sport Optics, Leica Sport Optics, Vortex Optics, Kenetrek Boots, Stealth Cam, Ariat, and Badlands Packs have partnered with Guidefitter to leverage the company’s vast verified guide network and its proprietary software platform for identifying, verifying, and marketing products to industry influencers, subject to individual brand guidelines and vetting criteria.
Over the past two years, we’ve worked closely with our existing brand partners to better understand the influence that many other outdoor industry professionals can have on retail consumer purchase behavior and also how challenging these broader programs can be to manage internally,” said Bryan Koontz, founder and CEO of Guidefitter. “Today’s announcement demonstrates our ability to deliver, as our partners expand the scope of their relationship with us and continue to rely on us to help drive more results through our network and our tech platform.
