Fires Weapon Underwater – With His Own Life On The Line
The following is a science experiment conducted by Vite NRK do not try this at home. – It’s harder to create movement in water than in air, because water molecules are closer together than air molecules. To show the difference in resistance, physicist Andreas Wahl from Viten NRK puts himself in front of a weapon submerged in water and fires it – on himself.
Physicist Andreas Wahl stood approximately 8 to 10 feet away from the gun.
Wahl’s ballistic myth busting experiment and video evidence will have you second guessing all those underwater Hollywood action movie sequences.
WARNING: The experiments shown were conducted by Viten NRK without any other safety than what appears in the videos. The experiments have been thoroughly tested in advance, in close consultation with professional personnel. To recreate or otherwise attempt to repeat the experiments can be fatal and is strongly discouraged.
