Shooting Handgun Tips
Staying on Target During Rapid Fire
There are times to shoot fast and rapidly for practice, sports or self defense.
Here are some pointers from Pro Shooter Rob Leatham.
Jerking the Gun
During the recoil its important to get back on the trigger quickly.
Not squeezing the trigger, but jerking straight through with your finger. The idea is to ingrain your muscle memory to jerk with your fingers not your wrist.

Getting back to the recoil, its natural for the gun to jump. So visually, the sight is jumping up about 4″ and coming back down on target. So basically gun goes off target as it recoils and back down on target. What you must do is during the recoil, be sure to see the sights then fire.
