Kim Rhode’s 2020 Vision: Our April Cover Story

I recently had the good fortune to spend a few hours chatting with Olympic shooting champion Kim Rhode on a variety of topics. In retrospect, we could probably have filled an entire issue with everything that we covered. As it stands, you’ll be able to read a good deal of it in our upcoming April issue, which should be hitting the news stands in the next few days.

As I write in the cover story of our expanded NRA show issue, from the first moments of our long and wide-ranging conversation, I felt as if I was a member of the family, primarily due to her relaxed demeanor and disarming personality. Our conversation took place at the Redlands Shooting Park, one of three Southern California ranges she uses for her daily training sessions.

And speaking of the annual NRA meetings, if you are planning on attending the big shindig — which will be held in Atlanta from April 27-30 — make sure you stop by the American Shooting Journal booth (#402) to say hello!
