Gunfire Claims Fewest Cops Since 1887

Shotgun News has a great article on the decrease in deaths of police officers by firearms. “Only 33 police officers were killed by gunfire in 2013, the lowest number since 1887, according to data from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.” This is great news considering the number of firearms continues to increase.
