It is with great sadness that we report the passing away of Mike Raahauge, one of the legends in the firearms community.  He died at age 72 of esophageal cancer diagnosed in August.  His Raahauge Shooting Enterprises puts on one of the biggest gun shows in the country every year, which uniquely features the ability to test the firearms out before you purchase them – even fully autos. All this takes place in California notwithstanding its strict gun control laws.  Western Shooting Journal has provided considerable coverage of the fair. The next Raahauge hands-on sports fair takes place on May 31st – June 2nd, and he will be memorialized there since he hated funerals. He will be greatly missed. Read more at The Press-Enterprise.
