On this particular day in Alaska on Saturday, 2 hunters were scouting a spot for moose hunting in the fall. They hiked a mile to this area from their boat. While they were walking through the area they smelled the stench of something dead. They proceeded further to their desired area but a little more cautious. The dead smell hit them again and this time they stopped dead in their tracks and figure they were near a kill.
By this time they drew their weapons, they both were armed with a 10mm Glock G20. Within an instant a grizzly bear appeared 10 yards from the brush and started to charge the hunters. The two hunters proceeded to pounced lead into the bear immediately.
Bother hunters say they unloaded over 10 rounds each into the charging bear. Both hunters were able to stop the bear within 5 yards. All over in an instant. The hunters speculated at this close proximity no bear spray was going to stop this bear.
